Double Dutch Derby
Delete Your Account
Last updated: September 15, 2026
This page explains how to delete your Double Dutch Derby account and the data associated with it. Double Dutch Derby is developed by MAKENZO Games (MAKENZO). It applies to the Google Play and App Store versions of the Game.
How to delete your account
In the Game (fastest, immediate):
- Open Double Dutch Derby and tap Settings, then Account.
- Tap Delete Account (or Delete My Data if you play as a guest).
- Confirm. The account and its data are deleted right away, and the Game continues as a fresh guest.
By email (if you no longer have the Game installed):
- Email privacy@makenzogames.com from the email address on the account, with the subject line "Delete my account". If you played as a guest, include the player ID shown at the bottom of the Game's account screen instead (tap Copy next to it).
- We verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, and we confirm by reply.
Deleting the app alone does not delete your account or your cloud data. Guests have an anonymous player ID too, with cloud-saved progress and an automatically generated leaderboard nickname, so use one of the two options above whether or not you created an account.
What is deleted
- Your account login (email address and password).
- Your cloud save and game progress (bests, coins, unlocked cosmetics, settings).
- Your leaderboard entry and public display name.
- The player ID that tied these together.
- Your account and progress data stored on the device, when you delete from within the Game. Device settings (audio, calibration) and your Remove Ads entitlement are kept, because they are not account data.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records for the "Remove Ads" purchase are held by Google Play or Apple, not by us, under their own policies. We keep no copy after deletion.
- Anonymous crash reports already sent contain no name, email, or account identifier and are deleted automatically by our crash-reporting provider after 90 days.
- Aggregated, non-identifying statistics (for example, total daily players) contain nothing that identifies you and are retained.
- Ad-network data (players 13 and over only): ad partners connected through Unity LevelPlay may hold data tied to your device's advertising ID under their own privacy policies; we cannot delete it for you. Resetting or deleting the advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) breaks that link.
- Records we are required by law to keep (for example, tax records of a purchase) are retained only for the legally required period.
