Double Dutch Derby

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 11, 2026

These terms are specific to Double Dutch Derby ("the Game"), developed by MAKENZO ("we," "us," "our"). They add to the studio-wide Makenzo Games Terms of Service, which apply to every game we publish and are part of this agreement. If anything here is more specific than the studio terms, this page applies to the Game. The Double Dutch Derby Privacy Policy explains what the Game collects.

The short version

Playing the Game

You may play the Game as a guest without an account. Your progress — best score, highest tier, best combo, and runs played — is saved to your device and, when online, to your anonymous player ID so it can be restored. You may optionally link an Apple, Google, Facebook, or Game Center sign-in to carry progress between devices.

Coins and rope cosmetics

The Game awards coins for finishing runs and, optionally, for watching a rewarded ad. Coins can be spent in the rope shop on cosmetic ropes that change how the Game looks but not how it plays. Coins and cosmetics:

Remove Ads and other purchases

"Remove Ads" is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. It removes interstitial ads between runs on the account it was bought with. It does not remove optional rewarded ads, which you choose to watch for a bonus. Use "Restore Purchases" in the Game to reinstate it on a new device. Refunds follow Apple's or Google's policies. A "grown-up check" appears before any purchase, and parents can use the purchase controls built into iOS and Android.

Rewarded ads and "Watch to Continue"

After a run ends, the Game may offer a rewarded ad in exchange for continuing the run or doubling coins. These offers are optional, may not always be available, and depend on ad providers filling the request. Ads are non-personalized. We may change or remove rewarded offers at any time.

Leaderboards and display names

The Game has a global leaderboard that shows display names and scores. Setting a display name is optional; without one, your score appears under a default label. Display names are screened for inappropriate words. We may change or remove any name that is offensive, impersonates someone, contains personal information such as a real full name, phone number, or location, or otherwise breaks the studio terms. We may remove scores we believe were obtained by cheating, exploits, or tampering with the Game, and we may restrict leaderboard access for repeat offenders. Children should choose a nickname, not a real name.

Fair play

Do not use modified versions of the Game, automation, or any tool that interferes with timing, scoring, or the Game's servers. The Game judges taps against its own audio clock; tampering with it is cheating.

Online features

Cloud save, sign-in, and leaderboards depend on Unity Gaming Services and your connection. The core Game is playable offline. We may change, suspend, or retire online features, and we may reset leaderboards, for example at the start of a new season or after abuse is detected.
